Images to Video
Animate the photo you already have.
Images to video is the shortest path from something you already shot to something that moves. Upload one photo, choose a look, and HypeMorph returns a five to ten second clip you can post vertically or keep as the first shot of something longer.
Current scope is one image in and one short clip out, with no audio. Vocal, lip-sync and beat-matching steps are not part of this workflow. Live generation depends on model availability, and a confirmed failure returns the reserved credits to your balance.
What images to video means on HypeMorph
Most people arrive with a photo they like and no clear idea of what the video should be. Images to video answers that with a small, fixed set of motion looks instead of an open prompt box. Each look decides the camera move, the light and the pace, so the result still reads as your photo while the frame starts to move. The output is a short clip, five to ten seconds long, framed for vertical feeds. It is not a long edit, not a slideshow, and not a replacement for a camera. Treat it as the first beat of a story you can extend somewhere else.
How to turn images to video in three steps
The workflow is deliberately short, one input, one choice, one review.
Start with one clear photo
Pick a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 4 MB. A single subject, shot in decent light, with some space around it, gives the model room to move. Screenshots, collage sheets and photos where the subject fills the whole frame leave nothing to animate, and the clip usually ends up looking like a still image that vibrates.
Choose the effect that sets the motion
Each of the six effects is a different kind of movement, a slow pull-back, a neon-lit street, warm late sunlight, a living portrait, drifting clouds, or the orange studio duo format. Pick by the feeling you want rather than by the name, because a portrait effect on a product shot will move but not in a way that helps you sell anything. You can run the same photo through a second effect later and compare the two.
Review and save in your studio
Finished clips land in your studio, where you can watch the result, download it, and keep the source photo attached to it. If a generation fails for a confirmed reason, the reserved credits go back to your balance. If a provider request is still being checked, the task stays visible in your studio until the status resolves, so you are never guessing whether credits were spent.
What makes a good source image
Image quality decides more of the outcome than the effect you pick. Three things matter most.
Light, subject and framing
Choose a photo where the subject is lit from the front or the side, not silhouetted. Keep the subject sharp and reasonably large: a person from the waist up works better than a person standing in a crowd. Leave a margin at the edges, because effects that push or pull the camera need somewhere to move. Daylight, a window indoors, or studio light all work. A flash photo against a dark background is the hardest case, since the model has little information to move.
Images that usually disappoint
Very dark photos, heavy motion blur and subjects smaller than about a third of the frame tend to produce soft or sliding results. Photos with several people compete for attention, and the clip often drifts between them. Watermarked previews, screenshots with interface chrome and images that already contain text are weak inputs, because the model will try to move the text as well. None of this is blocked. It simply produces results you are less likely to publish.
Images to video vs. text to video
HypeMorph has two starting points, and they solve different problems. Images to video keeps what you already have, the face, the product, the room, the outfit. The model moves that material instead of reinterpreting it, so the result stays tied to a real photograph. Text to video starts from a description alone, which suits a scene you never shot, such as a landscape, a fictional character or a concept frame. Use images to video when the photo is the point, and text to video when the idea is the point. Both return the same kind of output, a short vertical clip of five to ten seconds without audio. Mixing them works too: generate a scene from text, save a frame, then run that frame through an image effect.
AI video effectsSix AI video effects you can apply to a photo
All effectsEvery effect below takes the same input, one photo. The names describe the motion, not a genre. Hotel Lobby is a concept format for a two-performer rap performance and is not available for generation yet. The other five are ordinary photo-to-motion looks, and the card under each link states what that effect actually does.
Images to video questions
How long does a clip take to generate?
Length depends on model availability rather than on the size of your photo. Your studio shows the task status while it runs and keeps the task visible when a provider request is still being checked. The clips themselves are five to ten seconds.
Can I use the result commercially?
You are responsible for the material you upload. Make sure you have permission for the photo and for everyone in it, and follow the terms of the plan you are using. HypeMorph does not grant rights to images or footage you do not own.
What happens if a generation fails?
A confirmed failed generation returns the reserved credits to your balance. If the provider request is still unresolved, the task stays in your studio with its status until it is checked.
Which formats and sizes can I upload?
JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 4 MB per image, one image per generation. Oversized files are rejected before any credits are reserved.
Can I add music, or make a longer video?
Not in this workflow. Clips are short and silent by design. Add music, captions or a longer cut in a separate editor, using the downloaded clip as your first shot.
Your photo is already the hard part.
