Keep the subject clear.
Use an image with one obvious focal point. Busy backgrounds, overlapping people and heavy filters can make it harder to preserve the details you care about.
Look for natural light.
Soft, even light gives the model more usable information. Very dark shadows and blown-out highlights hide detail. A clean original is often a better source than a heavily edited version.
Leave a little breathing room.
A tightly cropped subject can leave less space for camera movement. Choose a wider composition when an effect involves a push, pull or orbit, and review the framing after generation.
Use photos responsibly.
Only upload photos you own or have permission to use. Ask for consent before animating someone else’s image, and do not present a generated scene as proof of a real event.
